Dr. Cianciarulo’s is an Associate Professor of Biology at Carlow College in Pittsburgh, PA. Her research interests involve bioremediation, the design of microorganisms to biodegrade environmental contaminants, and fungal contamination in buildings. She has also assisted in teaching portions of courses as part of the Restoration Science Academy team of instructors. Dr. Cianciarulo taught the microbiology and sewage portions of the IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) training.
