About Us

The IAQ Training Institute, LLC Healthy Buildings Summit (HBS) 2020 will build on the success of our previous summits. This years theme is: Practice to Research – Flipping the Paradigm. Our speakers and topics have been chosen to continue our efforts to get practioners the most current science based information and inform researchers about industry research needs. We also want to help ensure that our industry is using techniques, equipment and standards that are science based. We’ll be using conference proceedings from this year and last years conference to write a paper on what Practitioners need from the Research community.

The Healthy Buildings Summit grew out of the annual IAQ Training Institute “Summer Break” event which started in 2008. The Healthy Building Summit brings together indoor environmental professionals, cleaning and restoration professionals, building owners and managers, building scientists, home inspectors and home performance professionals for 3 days of presentations, panel discussions and research projects. This is a must attend event and unique opportunity for networking and building lasting relationships in an intimate and relaxing location.

In 2017 for the first time we introduced Exhibitors and Marquis Sponsors. This year we welcome back many of last years sponsors and add a few new ones. Early bird for both exhibitors and attendees will be available until September 14th 2020.

We’ll also continue our tradition of conducting and reporting on real world, practical research during the conference. Bring a deserving employee to learn from the best. HBS attendees are the cream of the crop in the IAQ, disaster restoration and home performance industries.
