Jeaneen A. Zappa

Jeaneen leads the Pittsburgh, PA- based non-profit, Conservation Consultants Inc., which focuses on residential energy efficiency and healthy home performance.  Driving strategic direction, fundraising, and excellence in overall operations, Jeaneen oversees CCI’s management team, programs and staff of 13 employees. With more than 20 years of professional experience spanning the for-profit, public, and not-for-profit sectors, her background and expertise ranges from strategic planning to partnership and client relationships to program development. Jeaneen’s prior work at Allegheny County as Sustainability Manager focused heavily on a large-scale energy efficiency project across the County’s multiple facilities, and she directly oversaw the utility bill payments and analysis. Jeaneen serves on the Policy Advisory Committee of the PA Weatherization Assistance Program, the annual conference planning committee for the Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance, the Membership/Affiliation Report Committee and the national conference session review selection panel for the Building Performance Association, and the Board of Directors of NeighborWorks Western PA which assists prospective home buyers with financial  literacy and home ownership skills. She is a former Board member of the Allegheny Land Trust and Pittsburgh Green Innovators, the Pittsburgh Technology Council’s Green Advisory Council, the Nine Mile Run Watershed Association Board, Crafton Public Library Board, Hollow Oak Land Trust Board, and the PowerLink Board.
